CHIROPRACTOR NORTH SYDNEY
About Infinite Health Chiropractic North Sydney
At Infinite Health Chiropractic, we provide progressive, hands-on Chiropractic care to residents in North Sydney. Our Chiropractors provide solution-focussed chiro services that find the root-cause of your musculoskeletal injury to provide a long-term solution that will help you to achieve greater mobility and lasting comfort as you run, walk, or swim.
During your initial consultation, our North Sydney Chiro team will assess and diagnose your condition. Following a comprehensive assessment and discussion of your injury and previous medical history, we will put together a customised treatment plan that will relieve pain and put you on the path to long-term recovery.
Depending on the nature of your injury, your Chiro will recommend a treatment plan that includes massage therapy, spinal manipulation and mobilisation, dry needling, postural advice, extracorporeal shockwave therapy. We will develop a bespoke exercise program that encourages mobility and strength so that you can continually improve in between treatment sessions.
Whether you are seeking general chiropractic treatment, or sports chiropractors that understand the specific nature of your sports injury, our team of qualified spinal and sports chiropractors will treat your biomechanics and neuromuscular function by addressing posture or muscular imbalances.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a Chiropractor?
No. Just like Physiotherapists, GPs, and Podiatrists, Chiropractors are Primary Health Practitioners which means that you do not need a referral to get an appointment.
If you have had a previous appointment with a GP, Physio, or another relevant health care professional for the injury which is being treated, then we encourage you to bring along any information or X-rays that will be relevant to our North Sydney Chiropractic team.
How long are Chiropractic appointments?
Your appointment duration is contingent on the severity of your injury, and how complex the problem is. Initial consultations are 25 minutes long and are necessary for our chiropractors to better understand your concern.
Follow up appointments are as follows:
Follow up short appointments (15 minutes) – ideal for ongoing management of stable conditions.
Follow up regular appointments (25 minutes) – review and treatment for less serious conditions, ideally suited for those who need to review progress and/or any issues with injuries.
Follow up extended appointments (40 minutes) – suitable for multiple injuries or chronic and severe pain
By providing all of the relevant details when you book online or over the phone, we will be able to book you in for the most suitable appointment.
What is included in my appointment?
Depending on the length of your appointment and the type of injury that we treat, your individual appointment deliverables may look different. However, your session will usually include:
Full body assessment
Hands on treatment of injury
Follow-up plan with a Chiro
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so that our chiropractors can properly assess your injury and evaluate possible problem areas. If you are a runner, walker, or sportsperson, it is a good idea to wear the footwear that you typically wear when exercising.
If you have had a previous appointment with a Doctor or specialist, please remember to bring any relevant notes or X-rays that you have received during your appointment. For health fund members, you will also need to bring your card so that you can make a claim.
How many sessions will I need with a Chiropractor?
The number of sessions required will depend on the severity of your injury and the type of treatment plan that is recommended by our North Sydney Chiropractic team.
Based on your first assessment, we will recommend a treatment plan that includes pain relief tips and a follow-up assessment schedule.
Will I need to do anything after my appointment?
Our Chiropractors may suggest some exercises to relieve the pain and provide recommendations on things that you should avoid (slouching, improper posture etc.).
Just like anything, you get out exactly what you put in. Our patients that attend regular appointments and complete the recommended exercises see better, longer-lasting results than those that visit us for a once-off appointment.
