Patrick graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology. In line with the holistic approach of the clinic, he is Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Level 1 and 2 certified as well as a qualified Sports Trainer.
Since graduating Patrick has gained experience primarily in exercise rehabilitation for musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, together with chronic disease management rehabilitation in private clinics. He also has valuable experience in conducting fitness & health screens and in presenting health & wellness seminars in corporate health.
Patrick is an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist with a passion for helping clients uncover the optimal version of themselves. His clinical approach is to utilise functional and sport specific movement screens to assess and identify the core of the problem. Patrick believes less is more when it comes to exercise-based therapy and utilises this principal to ensure that the exercise prescription is specific, concise and effective.
Patrick believes that it is important to guide clients from the start of their rehabilitation all the way to their return to sport and eventually optimising their performance. Patrick will help you identify your underlying weaknesses, mobility and movement issues and guide you to your goal, whether that is to move pain-free or optimal sports performance.
Patrick has a strong interest in anything sports or musculoskeletal-related, whether its general rehabilitation, sports injuries, injury prevention, improving sports performance or getting people to move better in everyday life.
Patrick has played competitive sports most of his life and understands the step-by-step approach needed for rehabilitation in return to play or to restore optimal performance. To complement this he also has a very in-depth knowledge of strength training and nutrition for weight loss or strength purposes.
