John formally graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. In addition to this, John has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience from countless clinical hours in his chosen field, working along side pioneers in the industry and staying up to date with the most current evidence based practice.
John has extensive experience working in private practice with people from accross the spectrum. This includes spinal and sporting clients involving return to their daily activities or favourite sport as well as professional athletes looking to prevent injury and improve their performance for that competitive edge.
Injury prevention! While most would think only to see a physiotherapist when they are injured, John advises that an appropriate screening process from head to toe can detect the risk of an injury occurring thereby preventing the injury from occuring in the first place. John utilises a diverse range of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription with the aim of getting clients moving again as soon as possible.
John has a strong interest in taking clients out of pain and into optimal performance and function where their bodies are moving as efficiently as possible. He regularly treats backs, necks and shoulders but likes to focus on rehabilitation and performance of the lower limb chain (hips, knees and ankles).
