Frequently Asked Questions
What conditions and injuries do you treat?
Our Sydney CBD clinic has the capacity to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and concerns. The most common conditions we help our patients with are:
Neck injuries. Due to its mobility, your neck is highly susceptible to injuries. Whether you are suffering from a facet joint sprain or cervicogenic headaches, our team can put a plan in place that helps reduce the risk of damage to other muscles or spinal discs while also providing pain relief.
Ankle and foot issues. Rolled your ankle during your morning run, or fractured your foot in an accident? Injuries to the foot and ankle are going to be painful, debilitating, and limiting. Our team is dedicated to creating a customised treatment plan that focuses on resolving problems such as sprains, Achilles tendinopathy fractures, and plantar fasciitis.
Lower back pain. Back pain can be caused by different factors like overexertion from sports activities, work posture issues or sleep-related injuries. Whatever the cause is, we have the expertise to assist you in finding relief and improving your back strength. Our approach involves creating a plan that takes into account your injury and lifestyle circumstances so that you can get rid of back pain once and for all.
Other conditions we often help patients with include:
-
Knee injuries e.g ACL tears and runner’s knee
-
Tendinitis
-
Shoulder injuries
-
Tennis elbow
-
Hamstring sprains
-
Groin strains

Where can I find your Physio clinic in the CBD?
You’ll find Infinite Health in the city conveniently located at Suite 103, Level 1, 74 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. We are in the building on the right of Mitre 10.
What’s involved in an initial consult?
During your first consultation, you'll have a personal meeting with your physiotherapist. They will ask you some questions about your injury, medical background, routine and what you hope to accomplish. By gaining insight into your circumstances and goals, we can develop a treatment plan that can be assessed and adjusted as we progress.
Following that, we will evaluate the injury or condition and analyse its triggers and causes. This will help us to develop an exercise program or management strategy to alleviate your pain or discomfort.
Ultimately, our objective is to help you recover fully and implement a long-term solution that focuses on strengthening your body and preventing any recurrence of the injury.
How long are physio appointments?
That depends on whether or not it is your first appointment, your current injury, and the treatment required from our team of Sydney city physios. We offer different appointments for different circumstances:
Short appointment | 25 minutes
Efficient sessions that can be attended to in your lunch break - for simpler conditions, or for the more budget-conscious patient.
Standard appointment | 40 minutes
Thorough assessment & treatment of your injury. Recommended for most conditions.
Long appointment | 55 minutes
Comprehensive assessment & treatment for a complex problem (chronic/serious injuries) or multiple injuries.
In the initial physiotherapy appointment we will:
-
Identify the source of your pain.
-
Provide you with treatment like massage to relieve pain and get you moving in the right direction.
-
Create an exercise program/recovery plan to help you progress in between sessions.
How many appointments will be required?
The number of appointments you need to address pain or recover from an injury fully will depend on its severity. Most of our patients experience improvements after 2-3 sessions of physiotherapy. After your initial consultation, your physiotherapist will provide you with a treatment plan that outlines the expected number of sessions and timeline for recovery.
