Here's a round of ‘If you can't do this. Try this!'

It is important to remember that these alternatives are not the ONLY solution to your problems but can be a viable option.

These alternate exercises are generally a regression of dificultiness required to perform the movement

🎥 Exercises:

1️⃣ Prison squat → Count balance squat

The counterbalance of the DB’s acts as an external weight/force to help counteract/help our body shifting down into a squat.

2️⃣ KB swings → KB deadlift off platform

Lifting the KB from a raised platform limits the range of motion and removes the ‘‘swing’ pattern. This variation focuses on the hip hinge pattern which is essential for performing the ‘swing’ movement safely.

3️⃣ Bent over BB rows → Bent over dumbbell row w/ hand on bench

The 2nd variation adds the base of support from our knee and hand, and the removal of the BB to a DB all works to reduce the trunk stability needed for the row exercise.
