Improve Your Balance!
Having good single leg balance/stability is important as it helps to prevent falls and reduces the risk of injury. Whilst performing balance drills our body’s proprioception is also being challenged/improved.
This post showcases a couple intermediate-advanced balance drills with either a barbell or different pieces of equipment.
Test your balance out and see how you go!
For the barbell exercise, if you don’t have access to a barbell then you could always use a mop/broomstick and place a bag with a couple items in each, over each end.
For the second drill, if you don’t have access to gym equipment then get creative at home - backpacks, grocery bags, milk bottles, books, small babies… get creative!
