Top 3 Deadlift Tips!

Today we’ll be talking about why deadlifts AREN’T bad for your back!



Deadlifting…some shudder at the name of the exercise! Why? Well it is typically known to make lower backs quite cranky if performed incorrectly.


BUT it is a movement that you do a lot more of than you probably think; every time you pick something off the ground you are essentially doing a deadlift movement.


Whether performed in a gym or just picking up pot plants around the house, poor deadlifting technique can excessively load our lower back and can potentially lead to pain in these areas. This is why it is of paramount importance that we learn to move correctly and efficiently with this movement.


So that being said, these tips will be particularly beneficial for our seniors, as well as those just starting out at the gym or working out at home.
